In this tutorial I show how to create a magic mask in DaVinci Resolve 20 inside the Fusion tab.
This method fixes the annoying issue where a magic mask made in the Color tab disappears whenever you transform it, which forces you to retrack the whole thing.
By building the magic mask in Fusion you avoid that problem completely. The mask stays in place, the tracking stays intact, and you can transform it without it breaking.
This tutorial walks through the full process so you can use the magic mask without dealing with the disappearing mask issue.
