Anant Ambani at Rajarajeshwara Temple in Kerala; Pledges ₹12 Crore Donation

Описание: Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, visited the renowned Rajarajeshwara Temple in Taliparamba, Kerala, recently. His visit drew a large gathering of devotees and well-wishers.

During his visit, Ambani made several offerings to the temple, including Ponnumkudam, Pattam, Thaali, and Neyyamrutu, and performed Ashwamedha Namaskaram. He also handed over a cheque of ₹3 crore towards the temple’s renovation.

Ambani reaffirmed his commitment to preserving the temple’s heritage structures. The East Gopuram, a structure of immense aesthetic and archaeological significance, is believed to be as old as the temple itself. Having sustained damage in the past, it has remained in a state of disrepair for more than two centuries. Over the past two and a half decades, temple authorities have made continuous efforts to restore the structure; however, progress has been constrained due to limited financial resources.

Upon being apprised of the situation, Ambani extended his support by sanctioning funds for its restoration, a move that was widely welcomed by devotees.

The total contribution committed by him amounts to ₹12 crore, which will support the comprehensive development of the temple, including restoration of the gopuram and enhancement of parking facilities.

Ambani was accompanied by close associates and was received by temple authorities and priests in accordance with traditional customs and rituals.
