Healthy Wheat Pizza Recipe🍕
Ingredients:
🍕Whole wheat flour- 260 gm (1.5 cup + 1/4 cup)
🍕Salt- 5 gm (1 tsp)
🍕Sugar- 15 gm (1 tbsp)
🍕Instant dry yeast- 6-7 gm (1.5 tsp)
🍕Vinegar- 1 tsp
🍕Water- 120 ml (1/2 cup)
🍕Oil- 2 tsp
🍕Water- extra for kneading
Method:
1) In a bowl, add whole wheat flour and salt. Mix well.
2) Add in- sugar, yeast and mix again.
3) In a glass- take 120 ml water and add the vinegar. Mix.
Use this to make the dough.
4) While kneading add the oil.
5) Knead for 10-15 mins if kneading by hand.
6) Check for windowpane test.
7) If required, you can add more water to knead a soft dough.
8) Take a big bowl and brush it with oil. Place the dough inside.
9) Cover the dough with a damp wet cloth and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
10) It will Double up in size.
11) Divide it into 2 pieces.
12) Roll out to make a circle.
13) Brush the edges with water and fold them inside slightly to make the edge thicker.
14) This is done so that the sauce and cheese don't run out while baking.
15) Dock the base using a fork.
16) Your whole wheat base is ready! You can pack and store this base in the freezer for 2 weeks. (Thaw before using)
17) Once the base is done, spread pizza sauce and cheese on top along with the vegetables.
18) Bake in a preheated oven at 180degrees for 30-35 mins or until the crust turns golden brown and the cheese melts.
