MATCH 1
Thank you to all the teams who participated & viewers who tuned in! Without you, MEC could not have happened!
We, at MEC would like to clear up some confusion about what happened in the final stages of the tournament.
In the pro bracket, Team AirAsia Saiyan were eliminated from the tournament by Team EVOS. However, after Team EVOS lost to Team RRQ in the pro bracket finals, they were unable to play in the game against Team CBK as they had their match up in the MPL ID regular season.
Because of this, Team EVOS pulled themselves out of the remainder of the tournament. Team AirAsia Saiyan being the 3rd place Team in the pro bracket replaced them for the remainder of the tournament! Team EVOS was already aware of this risk going into the tournament and still gave their best in their matches.
Regardless, we would like to thank EVOS for participating in the tournament and the amazing games they showed us.
With this we would like to thank everyone involved again!
