Описание: Starting in 2023, Veteran offenders from the Jessup Correctional Institution in Maryland began working with Warrior Canine Connection (WCC) to help train future service dogs. The project is a collaboration with the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs, Maryland Department of Safety and Correctional Services, and friends from the corporate community. Through this innovative program, Veteran incarcerated individuals will raise and train puppies that will become highly skilled service dogs for future placement with Veterans with visible and invisible wounds.
