The purpose of the Five Civilized Tribes Museum shall be to preserve the history, culture and tradition of the five civilized tribes: Cherokee Chickasaw Choctaw Creek and Seminal to the acquisition and preservation of works of art artifacts documents books correspondence and other materials pertaining to the Five Civilized Tribes to promote interest knowledge and appreciation of tribal heritage to exhibit tours programs writings and other media to all people.
