Huge HS2 bridge move completed in Birmingham ahead of schedule

In our our latest progress video we show timelapse and drone footage of a specialist enginering team moving a 1,631 tone steel bridge into place over Lawley Middleway in Birmingham four days ahead of schedule.
Rather than building the bridge in situ, disruption to road users was drastically reduced by constructing the steep span on land next to Digbeth Canal.
Watch as the 112m structure is rotated 90 degrees and then pushed over the Lawley Middleway.
