Tasmania can only be described as epic! If you've watched along with our road trip vlogs over the past month or so you've probably already heard us say a few times how impressed we are with Tasmania, as far as we're concerned it's an isolated gem of Australia and somewhere we highly recommend!

This is a pretty unique video for us though, we don't ever really just sit down and chat about a destination and just blurt out what ever comes to mind. Maybe this is interesting, maybe it was a colossal waste of time and we should never share our final thoughts on a destination again, but we thought maybe it would be interesting to hear our final review on Tasmania now that our trip is over.

By the end of our travels we always leave with the most well-rounded overview, it's at the end of the trip when you have the full perspective on everything from fav meals, best beaches, most fun, do's and don'ts, likes and dislikes.

We ramble a bit in the video, so in short, if you're considering a road trip in Tasmania do it!

If you like seafood, wine, cheese, whiskey, or craft beer then there's delicious options for you.

If you like to hike, get out in wilderness, go for an adventure, not see people for days or just walk around and see some wombats - yes, you'll love it.

If you want km's of untouched white sand beaches and don't mind cold water, it's for you!

If you're not a fan of driving around too much, if you want to go shopping, visit high end locations, want nice and warm weather, or like to have lots of food options while you travel (outside of the centres it can be limited, but incredibly high quality) - maybe this isn't the place for you.

For us, Tasmania is our biggest surprise of our travels this year and we loved it!

Tasmania is a seriously epic part of Australia and is perfect for a good road tip - from the food, the people, the nature, the wild life, the wine - it's got it all going on!
