NASA is conducting its first-ever early medical evacuation from the International Space Station after a crew member developed a serious condition. All four astronauts will return to Earth approximately one month ahead of schedule, splashing down off the California coast. The emergency has cancelled planned spacewalks and will leave the station operating with a skeleton crew.
