Karpura Gauram : A Saluation to Lord Shiva (Bharatanatyam)
This is a salutation to the one who is as pure as Camphor, the one who personifies compassion and holds the essence of the world. Shiva, the Lord adorning the serpent around his neck, is an embodiment of purity.
This Shloka, followed by Om Namah Shivaye, is an important component of one's offering to the Almighty.
