Описание: The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala initiated the Cluster Development Programme (CDP), which mainly focuses on cost reduction, value addition, technology up-gradation, skill up-gradation etc. of MSMEs. The Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India under the Micro Small Enterprises-Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) Scheme is providing financial assistance for setting up Common Facility Centre (CFC) in Clusters.

As per MSE-CDP Scheme, the Ministry of MSME, Government of India provides a maximum 70% of the total project cost as Grant for setting up the CFC, 20% is the State Government matching contribution and the balance minimum of 10% is SPV (Consortium) contribution.

The CFC in Furniture Cluster, Thrissur (Thrissur Traditional Furniture Cluster Chevoor Pvt. Ltd., the SPV of the Cluster) was sanctioned under the above Scheme by the Ministry of MSME to our State.

The total project cost is Rs.1,445.08 Lakhs and the Common Facility Centre in Furniture Cluster at Kadalassery in Vallachira Panchayat, Thrissur is having the facilities like Design Facilities, Wood Seasoning Facility, Finger Joint Development and Quality Value Added Component Facility.
