Описание: Join us for our Yuntaku Live episode 34! A live broadcast talk story and music show, featuring our very special guests, Iroha & Itsuki Mochida! Iroha and Itsuki (siblings) lived on the island of Tokunoshima (part of Amami islands). They are both talented musicians specializing in Amami music. The chain of Amami islands is part of Kagoshima prefecture and is located between mainland Japan and Okinawa. Amami islands have a very unique culture and folk music with influences from both Japan and Okinawa. Their lyrics are in Amami language which is remarkably different from standard Japanese and Okinawan language. Folk songs reflect common people’s lives, beliefs, and the history of Amami islands. We are extremely excited to have them on our show to share stories about their life in Amami and their music live!
