Holygon Placify is a Sketchup extension that introduces a new, powerful way of effortlessly placing and transforming Sketchup’s fundamental design unit – components. Placify facilitates rapid design processes and batch-editing of component instances.
A common use case is adding vegetation, vehicles and other instanced features to terrain. Placify also works for interior design, mechanical assemblies, and many other scenarios that call for accurate placing and quick batch-editing of component properties.
In this first-look video, Felix from Holygon is giving a brief overview of Placify, and presents a few key concepts for transforming your 3D designs.
