A 29-year-old woman has been forced to spend 20 hours a day hooked up to a feeding tube because of a rare stomach condition. Jessie Sharp was diagnosed with gastroparesis two and a half years ago. The condition means her stomach is essentially paralysed - it can’t cope with food, or even water.
