This song had me by the throat until I finally sang it. I offer my condolences to people who had to listen as I was playing it on repeat for two days straight, trying to learn it right after it premiered.
Somehow it evokes this deep feeling of longing, but also brings comfort - Hoyo knew what they were doing. Couldn't help to think of the relationship between us, the players and the Traveler, the bond that we make through witnessing their journey. Is that how Skirk felt, knowing she would never belong in Teyvat yet seeing its history unfold right in front of her?
