Описание: Welcome to my little guide & shopping haul on everything Japan! I traveled to ten different cities in Japan during my two week vacation, and learned a lot about the dos and donts of shopping and budgeting. In this video I'm talking about:
1. expectations for your shopping experience
2. budgeting/expenses
3. the stuff no one tells you about (aka some uncomfy truths I learned about fashion specifically)
4. shopping tips and advice & where to go
5. what I bought aka a haul of everything

➢notes:
-Obviously this is purely my experience and I don't have obvious proof on what I said regarding the fast fashion in Japan apart from my own experiences and knowledge on the topic.
-some of my "indie brand" shopping experiences are very similar to what you can experience in downtown Manhattan and BK with "indie stores" selling Amazon/aliexpress products for 3x the original price. It's a very interesting and kind of sad thing to witness - I have noticed with many items afterwards that I've paid lots of money for something that originally cost the seller 90% less than what I paid - I would love to expand on this topic one day, as it's a recurring one.
-obviously not all shopping mall brands are bad or selling clothes that you can find on cheap websites like aliexpress. I found a lot of beautiful clothes I would have LOVED to buy, but like I said, the prices ranged from $150-250, which is currently very outside of my budget.
