For posterity we used quantum instead of VQ Torpedos but the result was the same. A very fast win for the Reliant Class (*As seen in STO) with a no nonsense strategy of hitting so hard and fast that the cube didn't even get to return fire.
You'll note as we went in it had targeting sensors. As we left it had no power cores of any kind. Those new NG shuttles are fairly fierce as well. Thankfully we didn't have to watch one get ripped in half by borg cutting lasers.
