I hadn't planned this mix.

Sly Dunbar passed away earlier this week and I wanted to celebrate the incredible legacy he left behind - I'd argue he's one of the most influential musicians of the late 20th century, with his drum patterns reshaping popular music around the world, influencing rap, dancehall, rock, reggaeton, afrobeats, DnB, house and disco - I doubt there's a genre that hasn't taken some inspiration from the man who drummed on literally thousands of classics.

This is a one take mix done this morning, I just grabbed the tunes Sly played on and ran through them. Regulars on the channel know I normally where the face mask but it felt weirdly disrespectful to do on this one, so an unplanned face reveal there. Hi.
