We've chosen to start our married life with a trip to Mashhad.
You may wonder why we chose not to hold a large celebration. As many of you know, we recently lost two close family members, and in our culture, it’s customary not to celebrate for a year when someone young passes away. If you noticed during my engagement ceremony, there was no music played, and no one danced. We truly appreciate your understanding of our cultural practices and the differences they may bring.
