I can still remember my reaction to seeing this scene. Man, Xenogears doesn't hold back in making this look as brutal as possible. You've got so much happening so quick. First Timothy is gone, then Lahan is gone, and then Alice is gone. Dan is the voice that stands out though.
Citan, though.. man. Dan's like "Fei's in that monster?" just looking for a yes or no, and Citan breaks out that he's BOUND BY THE CRUEL DESTINY OF GOD. Way to make the kid feel better, doc. Sucks to be Dan, and only partially because everything he cares about got blown up in his face.
