Kugti is the last village of distt.Chamba Himachal Pradesh.It is very beautiful place for trekk. Kugti Pass is used by shepherd to take their sheep's from one district to another. This way direct meats with the Lahul Spiti.
Kugti Pass is the highest altitude pass in the Pir- Panjal range, an interesting and adventurous trek of 5-6 days over one of the tough but not the most difficult.
Kugti Valley is situated in the tehsil Bharmour, District Chamba of Himachal Pradesh.It is known for its beautiful Sanctuary area.Kugti Sanctuary is the second largest sanctuary in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Its situated at an altitude ranging from 2,195 m to 5,040 m.
जैविक गांव है कुगतीः कुगती को जैविक गांव का दर्जा दिया गया है। यहां के लोग जैविक खेती करते हैं और इनका रहन-सहन बहुत ही सादा है। बर्फबारी के दौरान गांव पूरी तरह भरमौर से कट जाता है। गांव के एक छोर पर बहने वाले नाले की कलकल करती आवाज एक संगीत का एहसास करवाती है। चारों ओर से बर्फ से ढकी पहाडि़यां गांव की सुंदरता को चार चांद लगाती हैं। देवदार और चीड़ की लकड़ी से बने घर मन को एक अजब अतीत से रू-ब-रू करवाते हैं। गांव में गद्दी समुदाय के ही लोग रहते हैं और महिलाओं का मुख्य पहरावा नोआचड़ी और परुषों का गद्दी टोपी व चोला है, लेकिन समय के बदलाव के कारण आजकल बहुत कम लोग अपने प्राचीन पहरावे को पहनते हैं। लोगों के अनुसार गांव के 90 फीसदी लोग कृषि क्षेत्र से जुड़े हुए हैं।
