Corona Virus Cassette Sunday (and the next day too)

Описание: There's worse things that can happen than being off the streets without good reason. For anyone self-employed not only do we have to deal with the lockdown, we have to deal with the fact there's no money coming in, and we don't know when it will.
I can confirm it's true, the spirit of solidarity always burns brighter when you're on 100% of your salary, and 'working' from home. Yeah, it really helps with getting out on balconies cheering the medical services knowing you've got plenty of dough in the bank.
If you're on 80% of your salary it could be worse, you could be on 0%, which is roughly 80% less.

My saving grace, I'm not in a flat facing a wall. (but I may be if the bank reposses the house)

The UK has announced it will be taking similar measures from tomorrow (25th of March). I wasn't expecting that, it seems a bit ott and knee jerk, to go from what it was to what it now is. You suddenly need to enforce things, and then there's the question of police using masks and gloves when stopping member of the public (to fine them), and blah blah blah.

It's 'funny' how we are all so put out/scared/uninformed/in the dark/pissed off with it all, we don't spare much thought to the dead. But there you go.
As Bruce Hornsby said, that's just the way it is. Everyone will be counted (and in most cases mourned).
