James P. Allison, Ph.D., is the Vivian L. Smith Distinguished Chair in Immunology, Executive Director of the Immunotherapy Platform, and Director of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Since 2011, he has served as director of the Cancer Research Institute Scientific Advisory Council.
