On Monday night, Archbishop Gomez, joined by the bishops and priests of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, gathered at the Cathedral to celebrate the Chrism Mass.
The Chrism Mass is one of the most solemn and important liturgies of the Church year. During it, the Archbishop will consecrate the sacred oils used in the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick and Holy Orders
