Lewis Hamilton completes Ferrari’s three-day shakedown in Barcelona as the SF-26 begins its first serious mileage ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 regulations.

• Tuesday (Jan 27): Afternoon running in wet conditions
• Thursday: over 80 laps completed in the morning session
• Friday: Hamilton sets the fastest lap of the week — 1:16.348
Ferrari’s focus in Barcelona was reliability and mileage, running a conservative Spec A package while awaiting FIA approval before introducing more aggressive updates.
Hamilton spoke positively about the atmosphere inside Ferrari, highlighting the energy within the team and describing the new generation of cars as more enjoyable to drive, while stressing that true performance comparisons remain unknown.
The next official test takes place in Bahrain from February 11, where Ferrari is expected to unlock more performance.
