In this episode, we complete the full rebuild of this 20-year-old pondless waterfall in Bloomington, Minnesota.

After the full tear-out in Part 1, it was time to bring this 30-foot hillside waterfall to life.

This project came with its fair share of challenges. Tight access, steep ravine conditions, and the need to carefully reuse existing stone required strategic planning and teamwork. Every boulder placement mattered — both structurally and artistically — as we rebuilt the waterfall with increased elevation change, stronger flow dynamics, and a more natural, mountain-stream appearance.

The new system is built using modern Aquascape contractor-grade components designed for long-term performance, easier maintenance, and better water movement. Beneath the beauty is a fully updated reservoir system using Aquablox technology — eliminating the clogging issues that plagued older basin-style designs.

The stepping stones are reset, the hillside is stabilized, and the waterfall is fully flowing by the end of this episode.
