In 2007 BBC Parliament organised a theme night marking the 40th anniversary of the devaluation of the Pound in November 1967. 'The Pound In Your Pocket' was presented by Cliff Michelmore, and featured reminiscences from some of those around at the time: Tony Benn, Robin Butler, John Cole, William Davis, Roy Hattersley, Denis Healey, Peter Jay, Patrick Jenkin, Robert Sheldon, Dick Taverne, Graham Turner, Alan Watson and Alan Williams. The archive programmes are:
