Itinerary -

29 April - Flight from Bengaluru to Delhi in morning (leveraged Digi Yatra), Vande Bharat from Delhi to Katra. It got delayed due to farmer protest and I reached Katra on 30 April morning instead of 29 April night

30 April - As the train was late, I had cancelled my overnight stay hence took a room at a nearby hotel only to freshen up. Kept the luggage at the hotel where I had cancelled my stay for day 1, I still had my stay booked at the same hotel for day 3. The hotel was Rama Trident. They arranged their vehicle to drop us to the entry point of the trek. Started the 12 KM trek by walk around 12 PM and reached Ardhakuwari (halfway point) around 2.45 PM. Had already booked battery car from this place to the main temple (Holy Cave) for 5 PM slot. Reached all the way up around 6 PM and checked in to the Shrine Board's accommodation (4 bedded room, booked online). After taking some rest and having some food, got into the Darshan queue around 9 PM and completed the Darshan around 11.30 PM.

1 May - Had booked morning 2 hour Arati online (Called Atka Arati - Atka means the area next to the Holy Cave, starts at 6 AM and 6 PM everyday). It is a once in a lifetime experience which cannot be describe in words. So peaceful and divine. Took Darshan second time after the Atka Arati and visited Bhairo Baba temple via Ropeway. (Yatra is considered as complete only after visiting this temple which is 2 KM from the Holy Cave). After Darshan, came down by Ropeway. Had booked return Battery Car online for 10 AM slot. Reached back to Ardhakuwari in 15 min and started the trek down to Katra after having breakfast. Reached Katra around 3 PM and checked in to the hotel and took some rest. In the evening, spent some time exploring the local market and purchasing the dry fruits, Prasad etc.

2 May - Had cancelled my return booking of Vande Bharat (Due to all trains getting delayed) to Delhi and had booked a flight from Jammu to Delhi. (Vande Bharat starts around 6 AM and reaches Delhi around 2 PM). At 7.30 AM checked out from hotel and started for Jammu airport, reached around 8.30 AM. After having breakfast, boarded the flight at 11 AM which reached Delhi around 3 PM (Connecting flight via Chandigad). From Delhi, I had already booked return flight to Bengaluru at 6 PM, reached back to Bengaluru around 9 PM.
