If you are working with any Design and Engineering firm , DEC , EPC , static equipment manufacturer, you need to understand these codes & should have mastery however if you are working with Refinery,Petrochemical plants'maintenance team you should aware or have Knowledge of these codes.
If a pressure vessel is designed & manufactured in accordance with ASME Sec VIII Div1, same is specified on equipment Name plate along with equipment Operating/Mechanical data.
