Avenues to Tackle the Corruption that Enables Environmental

Описание: The third virtual panel discussion on environmental crime and corruption was successfully delivered on 24 March. The final event of the three-part series was organized by the International Anti-Corruption Academy and the Wildlife Justice Commission, with the support of external partners from different sectors and backgrounds around the globe.
To conclude the series, experts have presented concrete avenues to tackle this global issue. As stressed in previous panel discussions, any strategy willing to address environmental crime must target the corruption that enables it. This event underlined the challenges faced by law enforcement in investigating the nexus between environmental crime and corruption and discussed the key best practices to target these crimes.
