We took the metro from Valencia’s city center to Alboraya and stepped straight into L’Horta Nord, the historic farmland that has shaped the city for centuries. The walk unfolded at a gentle pace, crossing small bridges and irrigation canals, passing old farmhouses and quiet paths where the city suddenly felt far away. It was a side of Valencia that often gets missed - green, working, and closely tied to everyday life.

As the fields slowly gave way to the coast, we reached the Ermita del Miracle dels Peixets by the sea, a small chapel with deep local history. From there, the route looped back toward Alboraya, closing the circle between farmland, shoreline, and suburb. It was an easy, rewarding walk that showed how tightly Valencia’s urban life, agriculture, and the Mediterranean are still connected.
