Here is a neat video taken outside our Station 2 on Westport Road after a storm. It shows an arcing power line through a video camera and a thermal imaging camera.
This is a good lesson in the danger of compromised power lines. If you see one, call LG&E and/or 911. Do not approach the wire and keep everyone away.
