NEFA, North East Frontier Tract is the region that forms present Arunachal Pradesh.The video tells about the evolution of NEFA.
North East Frontier Tract was formed in the year 1914 by carving out areas from the then Darrang and Lakhimpur District of ASSAM. Then in 1951 the area was renamed as the North East Frontier Agency. And the same became the union territory of Arunachal Pradesh in the year 1972 and attained statehood in 20th February 1987.
