Komodo National Park
We dived Komodo central for 5 days. It was towards the end of rainy season when Mantas are more or less guaranteed. The conditions were challenging with visibility maxing out at 15 meters or less. But we saw many mantas and had some real close experiences with them. Such Elegant beautiful fantastic sentient beings. Apart from that we saw many marine life like Bamboo shark, White tip and Black tip sharks, Sweetlips, Groupers, Eagle Ray, Giant trivially, Bumped Parrotfish and much more.

Komodo is home to over 1,000 species of fish and more than 350 reef building corals. Even the most experienced divers will not be disappointed, with a large variety of dive sites that cater to all interests.

Said that in April, the water felt cold at 26/27 degrees, you get used to it overtime. North Komodo (Shotgun etc) were closed for diving due to very low visibility and strong currents. Locals said that it gets better in May.

Divesite: We dived Central Komodo only as North had very low visibility and strong currents. These were the dive sites.
