You Need Armed Police Escort in This Pakistan City 🇵🇰

Описание: Multan, Pakistan a city where tourists rarely ever visit. As we attempted to step out of our hotel the receptionist informed us we needed an armed police escort to follow us everywhere in the city. When there were no taxis available, we got to ride in the back of the police truck. We took them out for Multani fried fish at Allah Wasaya, the best fish restaurant in town, and visited the beautiful tomb of a Sufi Saint. While exploring the tombs and learning the history, 3 people were arrested and thrown into the back of the police truck... with us!

We ended by getting some famous Multan Sohan Halwa for dessert, while our criminal friends waited inside the police vehicle for us.

Unfortunately traveling like this means we rarely get any interaction with locals or get to explore the city in our own way. You can see in the video many times where the police would move people away or stop them from coming near us which was disappointing. Also, notice the way they were extremely quick to shut down my suggestion of security issues in this area. What do you think about this?
