The Fellowship enters Lothlórien under watch. A pale shape climbs the mallorn at night—ghost or spy, frost and chill, white as winter's breath. A bow is raised, a warning drawn, and it flees before dawn. By morning Frodo sees foam move across the Celebrant like half a dream. Something's following them. And the elves are NOT taking chances. 🏹
👻They cross the Celebrant on two ropes—one high for hands, one low for feet. Gimli, too short for grace and too proud for help, scowls and growls but swings across by arms alone "like some old ape who hates the sky." 😤
⛏️ Then comes the blindfold law: no outsiders see the secret paths. Gimli explodes—"Bind my eyes?! Like chained men do? Am I a thief?!" Aragorn, ever the diplomat, offers a solution: blindfold EVERYONE. The elf smiles and agrees... kind of. They wrap cloth on every face, wait till knots are firmly laid, till dwarven curses have well stayed. Then soft hands move, unseen, unheard—smiles bloom without a single word. And one by one, the Fellowship slips free beneath the bough. All see again... save one, even now.
Gimli walks alone in trust unseen, grumbling still yet pressing on. The elves trolled him. Hard. But bonds are forged where sight is gone. 🙈✨
Trust is paid in patience worn. Step by step through elven thorn. 🌲

LYRICS:
[INTRO]
In silver leaves the night lay still,
A pale shape drifted, frost and chill,
Not dark, but white as winter's breath,
It climbed the Mallorn, soft as death.
A bow was raised, a warning drawn,
The ghost fled fast before the dawn,
At morning's rise, 'tween bark and stream,
Frodo saw foam move—
Like half a dream.
[Verse 1 – The Celebrant]
Across the Celebrant they pass,
Two ropes stretched over rushing glass,
One held above for gripping hands,
One low beneath where footing stands.
The dwarf snarls low, his temper flares,
Too short for grace, too proud for prayers,
He scowls, he growls, yet does comply,
And swings ahead by arms alone,
Like some old ape who hates the sky.
[Chorus]
Through leaves of gold and woven green,
No road is clear, no path is seen,
Trust is paid in patience worn,
Step by step through elven thorn.
[Verse 2 – The Blindfold]
"Bind my eyes? Like chained men do?"
The dwarf spits fire, his beard askew,
"Am I a thief? A captive prize?"
His words strike stone, his anger rise.
A ranger speaks in measured tone:
"Then none shall walk this wood alone."
The elf just smiles, light and fair:
"Oh no, my friend—
That law's for common air."
[Chorus]
Through leaves of gold and woven green,
No road is clear, no path is seen,
Songs may guide where eyes are torn,
Step by step through elven thorn.
[Verse 3 – The Elven Game]
So cloth is wrapped on every face,
They stand in hush, in quiet space,
They wait till knots are firmly laid,
Till dwarven curses well have stayed.
Then soft hands move, unseen, unheard,
Smiles bloom without a single word,
All slip free beneath the bough—
All see again…
Save one, even now.
[Final Chorus]
Through leaves of gold and woven green,
One walks alone in trust unseen,
Grumbling still, yet pressing on,
For bonds are forged where sight is gone.
