One person is dead and three others were in hospital with gunshot wounds after an early-evening shooting in an apartment building in Toronto's west end. Officers found one victim who was pronounced dead in a unit on the building's third floor, a victim found in the lobby was transported to hospital in serious-to-life-threatening condition, another fled and found shelter in a TTC bus, while the last victim walked into a local hospital.
