Saaya Chokha or Turmeric Rice is as the name suggests, Yellow rice. A healthy variation to the regular steamed rice, the taste of Saaya Chokha is enhanced when it is tempered with ghee infused mustard seeds. In Bhatia cuisine, Saaya Chokha is usually eaten with Masalay piyo Saag.
