Those Were The Days. Composer Boris Fomin (date unknown) with the title “Дорогой длинною" “By the long road"
Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen, had a hit with the former in 1961.
Mary Hopkins had a hit with the latter in 1968.
Street band “Swervy World” puts both Russian songs together in this medley recorded outside, in the rain, on Friday October 2nd 2020 in the closed down shop porch of ‘Clinton Cards’ on Fore Street, Bridgwater, Somerset, England.
