The wife and I were in Morehead, Ky on Thursday and I decided to swing through Kenova, West Virginia on the way home and see if I could get lucky and catch a couple of trains for you to see. I got lucky and got 3!
The first train is a Southbound, railroad East NS unit grain train coming out of Ohio across the Kenova Bridge.
It is followed a short time later by a Southbound NS intermodal. About halfway through this train, an Eastbound CSX empty coal train shows up and goes under the NS train! You also get to see Mrs. Gambit in there too!
Then we get 4 NS locomotives running lite headed back to the yard after leaving the coal loadout yard next to the Ohio River to the North about a half mile.
Finally, I do a quick video of 12 parked locomotives that have likely been sold off by NS to Progress Rail. This is the second time I have seen multiple locomotives parked there.
One last thing. Today is the 3rd anniversary of me starting this channel! I want to thank each and every one of you kind folks for taking time out of your day to see what in the world I come up with next! You folks are the best! Let's keep this ride going and see where we end up!
