देश में पिछले कुछ दिनों से सोने और चांदी की कीमतों में गिरावट देखने को मिल रही है, जिसने निवेशकों और गहने खरीदने वालों का ध्यान खींचा है। Delhi में 24 कैरेट सोने का भाव लगभग 1,60,830 रुपये प्रति 10 ग्राम तक आ गया है, जबकि 22 कैरेट सोना करीब 1,47,440 रुपये प्रति 10 ग्राम के आसपास है। Mumbai, Chennai और Kolkata जैसे बड़े शहरों में भी सोने की कीमतें लगभग इसी स्तर पर चल रही हैं। विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार इस गिरावट के पीछे कई वैश्विक कारण हैं। इनमें अमेरिकी डॉलर का मजबूत होना, वैश्विक स्तर पर ऊंची ब्याज दरें और आर्थिक अनिश्चितता प्रमुख कारण हैं। जब ब्याज दरें बढ़ती हैं तो निवेशक सोने की बजाय अन्य निवेश विकल्पों की ओर रुख करने लगते हैं, जिससे सोने की कीमतों पर दबाव पड़ता है। सिर्फ सोना ही नहीं, बल्कि चांदी की कीमतों में भी गिरावट आई है। चांदी का भाव करीब 2,79,800 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम तक पहुंच गया है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में होने वाले उतार-चढ़ाव का सीधा असर भारतीय बाजार पर भी पड़ता है क्योंकि भारत दुनिया के सबसे बड़े सोना उपभोक्ता देशों में से एक है। ऐसे में कई लोग इसे खरीदारी का अच्छा मौका मान रहे हैं, जबकि निवेशकों के लिए यह बाजार की चाल को समझने का समय माना जा रहा है।
