Join me on a beautiful Autumn weekend north of Algonquin Park for a grouse hunt. Tosh and I wander through the woods stirring up grouse in hopes to harvest a few for our dinner.
This is a perfect time of year to spend in the woods with very little flies, warm days and cool nights. I sleep in a canvas Lavvu tent with a view of the full moon over the calm lake.
No portages on this trip means we pack some extra luxuries including a Yeti Hopper filled with ice to keep our harvested meat cold and our Athletic Brews Colder.
