This is an old abandoned steel factory/steel mill with blasting furnaces from the early 1900's, which is now a beautiful public park open to everyone. These steel- and ironworks could be a great trip idea for schooltrips and day trips from Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Duisburg (Ruhrgebiet).
