Описание: On Friday, February 13, 2026, the Antonin Scalia Law School and the Law & Economics Center hosted Former Justice Scalia Clerks, Now Judges: Former Clerks for Justice Scalia Reflect on His Life, Lessons, Legacy, and Influence on Their Work. The program included a luncheon panel discussion featuring former clerks of Justice Antonin Scalia who shared anecdotes from their days working for the late Justice, as well as the profound impact he had on their careers beyond the chambers of the Supreme Court of the United States.

The Honorable Joan L. Larsen, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit

The Honorable Roy W. McLeese III, District of Columbia Court of Appeals

The Honorable Patrick J. Schiltz, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota

Donald J. Kochan, Professor of Law and Executive Director of the Law and Economics Center (LEC) at George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, served as moderator.

The panelists also took questions from the audience at the conclusion of the program.

More than 70 participants attended the luncheon panel, including law students at the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, as well as faculty, staff, and other friends of the Law School.
