Tour on the Velodyssee from La Rochelle to Biarritz

On September 15th 2018 our team of six (Alec Paul, John Harrison, Mike Newton, Naoko Motohiro, Jeff King, Paul Greenhalgh - note that there wasn't 2 x Jeff King as on the YouTube ) flew to La Rochelle to cycle along part of the Velodyssee cycle route to Biarritz. We had divided the route into seven sections for the seven days that we would be cycling. Our average mileage would be about 46 miles (74 km), with 3 days being over 50 miles.. Fortunately most of the route was flat. It looked like there would be no cycling along canals as the previous year but there would be many stretches of cycling through forests.
We were fortunate with the weather and only had one day where it rained near the end of that day's ride.
The music is from the Essential Collection - Spa series - tranquility - Waves of Love.
The bikes were hired from FranceVelo - they were excellent, arriving at the exactly agreed time both when delivering and collecting the bikes.
