Judgment is expected in the trial looking into the disappearance of Joshlin Smith.
Earlier this week, state prosecutors and defence lawyers wrapped up their closing arguments in the matter.
The child's mother Kelly Smith, her boyfriend Jacquen Appollis, and his friend Stevano van Rhyn are facing charges of kidnapping and human trafficking in connection with the little girl's disappearance last year.
The court's ruling will bring some form of closure to a painful chapter for the community of Middlepos Settlment, even though many are still for answers.
