The Florida Highway Patrol was alerted to a stolen 2009 Cadillac sedan traveling southbound on I-75 through Sumter County. When troopers attempted a traffic stop in Hernando County, the driver fled, initiating a high-speed pursuit. She reached speeds exceeding 110 miles per hour, weaving through traffic and using the shoulder to pass other vehicles. The pursuit came to an end in Pasco County after troopers executed a PIT maneuver near State Road 52. Upon her arrest, she was found to be nearly nude. She was charged with multiple offenses, including grand theft auto, reckless driving, fleeing and eluding, possession of methamphetamine, and driving with a suspended license.
