Pink Full Moon Rise - A Deserted Jennette's Pier during COVID-19, Nags Head, NC, Outer Banks.
This was an incredible full moon rise at the Jennette's Pier, which still remains closed and shut down to visitors while we all continue to shelter in place. Since the Outer Banks remains closed to visitors and non-resident property owners, the entire area is vacant and quite eerie; this is typically when our busy season is getting started.
The birds, however, have been replacing humans, and are enjoying the empty beaches. There were hundreds of seagulls feeding just off the end of the pier, which you can easily see throughout the entire video. It has been quite amazing to see nature enjoying areas that are typically full of vacationing humans.
This time-lapse is yet another piece of a much larger video project I'm working on to showcase the Outer Banks and all its beauty through my time-lapse, action photography, and various other videos.
