Yoga of Krishnamacharya hidden knowledge
Dado Motta a certified Yoga Teacher and Evaluator officially by the Government of India, Ministry of Ayush, lived almost 2 years in Mysore writes about and show a rare phase of Krishnamacharya Yoga
Krishnamacharya in his book Yogasanagalu (1941-1972), that means yoga asana, document the basis for the development of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, more than this he organizes asanas in groups (slishtam), pranayama and Patanjali Ashtanga Yoga (yama, niyama, asana pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, samadhi) in 3 series and explains:
"This yoganga sadhana has been divided into three series:
1.Shakti, power (strength) series, further classified into mind and body
2.Chikitsa, treatment series, is divided into kosha (sheath) and Nadi (pulse)
3.Adhyatmika, the spiritual series, Spiritual is only one.
First series requires many yogasanas and some pranayama. Second series needs some easy asanas and three pranayamas Third series requires pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana and samadhi and takes around 2 hours of continuous practice (sadhana).
My name is Dado Motta I am authorized officially by the government of India as Yoga Teacher and Evaluator, my practice has been praised by the Indian Yoga Association committee board, Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram and Mysore teachers. I have been researching and practicing this series daily for now more than 3 years daily. During Covid-19 lockdown I was in Mysore and Rishikesh researching practing and teaching this Yoga.
My effort is to teach this wise and health yoga of Krishanamcharya globally because there is few humans in the globe that know this 3 series complete, if there is any ONE yogi in the world that really knows and have the strength to practice these 3 series in the same day, besides me. So everybody is invited to learn correctly this great Yoga.
Yoga is a sacred practice rooted in the Vedas and Patanajali Darshana. And should be treated, respected and conducted as such. The effort of great Yogis such as Krishanamacharya, Ramamohana Brahamchari, Sivananda, Kaurantaka, Matsyendra, Kuvalayananda, Dhirendra Bhramachari, Vivekananda, Patanjali and many others also the incredible effort of Sri Patthabi Jois should be respected. And to all of them my deepest gratitued.
My aim here is to put Yoga to humanity in a safer and purer approach according to Patanjali, the tradition of India and the great knowledge we have available today to help humanity with yoga.
And in my particular point of view the Yoga Shastra should be treated and taught in a broader sense with more series (slishtans), more methodologies such as Ishavara Pranidhana, Kriya Yoga, Samyama and also added with the knowledge of Ayurveda such as Sharyra-Kriya Vijnana about ayurvedic physiology, and the scientific medical western knowledge of Physiology and Anatomy creating a much more secure practice for the student knowing his constitutional limitations, possibilities and even potential cure without further injuries.
I am away of the giant knowledge of Krishnamacharya and Patanjali and Ishvara and to their feet I bow their blessings.
