Is Astrea the next evolution of deckbuilder roguelikes? With the absence of cards and using Dice as the main mechanism instead, it could have the chance to shake up the genre. It may seem like a Slay the Spire clone at first, but Astrea is definitely more than just that.
Being a very new entry into the deck-builder roguelite genre, it can very well compete with the more popular ones like Slay the Spire. But as with a lot of the Deck-builders, they usually do play differently. I can't really compare it to Inscryption or Wildfrost, because it plays completely differently, that is why I keep comparing it to Slay the Spire, since it is the closest comparison to make.
